The thick liquid celluloid mixture is drawn from the mixing barrels and stored in massive cylindrical tanks each of five tons capacity. A crane-like vehicle slides along rails beautifully integrated into the wall structure, lowering and raising the sealed off vessels into place for storage. Pipes and massive ducts exposed below the mezzanine indicate the scale of operation and amount of energy being put into the maintenance of specific conditions within the vast, tall and narrow space.
