PRINTING MACHINES
Talbot, Frederick A. Moving Pictures: How They are Made and Worked. (Philadelphia: J. B. Lippincott Company, 1914), p. 82.
To print an image, the sensitized surface of the positive film is pressed tightly against the emulsion side of the negative film at the instant of exposure. A printing machine performs this task. Ideally, the temperature in printing rooms should not exceed 75 degrees Fahrenheit, which can be controlled year round with air conditioning installations.
